These terms apply to machineaction.com and to the preorder list operated by Machine Action Inc. By using the site or joining the list, you agree to them.
What a place on the list is#
A place on the preorder list is an expression of interest. It is not a purchase, a contract of sale, or a reservation of any specific product, price, configuration or delivery date. No money changes hands, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Your standing on the list may inform the order in which we extend invitations, but it does not guarantee an allocation.
Your account and garage#
You must give accurate information and use an email address you control. You are responsible for what happens under your place on the list. You may ask us to remove it at any time.
Referrals#
- Each place can unlock a limited number of additional bays by inviting other people. Those limits are shown in the product and may change.
- A referral only counts when the person you invited joins with a genuine, verified email address they control.
- Do not create fake signups, use disposable or auto-generated addresses, script the form, buy referrals, or post your invitation link as spam. We may remove referral credit, revoke a place, or block access if we believe the list is being gamed. Our judgement on this is final.
Acceptable use#
Do not attempt to breach, probe or overload the site, scrape it at volume, interfere with other people’s places, or use it to send anything unlawful, harassing or misleading.
Our content#
The site, its text, imagery and design are owned by Machine Action Inc. You may share links freely; please don’t copy the material for commercial use without permission.
No warranty#
The site is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw the preorder programme at any time.
Limitation of liability#
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Machine Action Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the preorder list, and our total liability is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
